A new malware via USB affect Android
Once again the malicious attacks again become one of the most sensitive issues affecting our preferred operating system . It seems that Google Play is no longer the only source of attacks on our operating system as we mentioned the other day through a malware affecting connections VPN . This time as we are informed guys Android Authority the USB connection including all our Android devices can be the center of a new outbreak of malicious attacks on the operating system of Google.
This malware of which I speak and has been identified and revealed by security firm Symantec called Trojan.Droidpak . This is a software that you install on your Windows PC and that once our terminal connected to the computer it downloads a format. apk even also in ADB mode . The application that you install on your Android terminal is a variant of Android.Fakebank.B which is itself a variant of malicious Google Play. It handles multiple applications seek the bench to get our credentials plus also have the possibility to intercept our messages. Currently only works with Korean banks although it is possible to use this application for other related purposes.
The only good news is that once we connect our terminal it is only possible malware is installed automatically if you have enabled debug mode . Therefore among the most important safety measures to prevent infection by this application include connecting the debug mode only when necessary avoid connecting your terminal to unknown or untrusted PCs and have a good software antivirus installed on your computer .
