Install Android 4.4.1 for Nexus 4 5 and 7 LTE

As mentioned Android 4.4.1 is beginning to reach the Nexus devices starting with the Nexus 5 .Fortunately we have not had to wait long to enjoy this update on other models and can now finally install it on other Nexus devices . There are still some models that have not received the update as the Nexus 7 in other versions than the LTE but will update as they arrive. nexus-7-new-012 This update KitKat is not so large as to include too many new  as most focus on camera operation Nexus 5 but probably yes other devices which may enjoy the improvements to the camera application lodged version. If the OTA update will not appear you can install the files which are at your disposal in the link below. To install it you only have to follow the same steps as usual . As always remember that if you do not know what you are doing do not do and that you accept some risk when you follow these steps:
  • Download the zip file and save it in the folder of the Android Platform-tools SDK
  • Connect the device to your computer via USB
  • We turn on the device by pressing the Volume Up + Volume Down + Power. Go into a menu control keys with Vol Up and Vol Down and Power to accept. With this access the Recovery.
  • When an exclamation icon appears enter the Download mode with the Vol Up + Power keys.
  • Select "Apply update from adb".
  • On your computer open a terminal screen or command line and wrote "We adb sideload zip file-name" where name-of-the zip is zip file which you have downloaded.
  • Once installation is complete reboot the device
If you prefer to wait for the factory images keep in mind that until next week will not be available .
