Limelight can follow your games PC Shield and other Android devices

Analyze smartphones increasingly starts to become routine. Little innovation and almost everything comes in on the role that increases are not reflected in reality because we have reached a very high level of performance. The evolution of a kernel processors to two or 256MB RAM to 1GB were big steps are now boring and repetitive. SAMSUNG CSC But what if not to make big lack hardware features to offer something better? That's what I want with Motorola Moto G a terminal that is surprisingly offering incredible performance as well as other mid-range to high price offer and also working much better.

The revolution of the mid-range

To deny it Android has a lousy reputation among many people and the reason is simple. When you go to buy a new phone and want your operator about free or at a very low price usually opt for phones with pretty big limitations. Manufacturers have long taken advantage of this situation and now we see everywhere with her very unhappy Android users. The conclusion is usually that Android is bad and we want an iPhone even though there are high-end Android. But anyway it has evil Android or at least that you create. SAMSUNG CSC Motorola Moto G is a free phone that costs € 175 if you want the 8GB version and 199 € if you want the 16GB but this looks like it will take longer to reach the European market. That is we talk about a very cheap phone at a competitive affordable even to untethered phone companies price. And the best? Performance is great goes fast fluid and does not seem at all a mid-range phone that are used in the Android world. Instead like a high-end and this marks a before and after in the mid-range Android.

Hardware

First we will cater exclusively to the hardware features on paper so this terminal offers:
  • 4.5 with screen resolution 720 x 1280 pixels
  • Chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 400
  • Quad-core Cortex-A7 1.2 GHz
  • Adreno 305 GPU
  • 1GB of RAM
  • Internal storage 8/16GB
  • 5 Megapixel Camera
  • GPS and GLONASS support
  • Interchangeable back cover but unable to remove the battery
  • microSIM
  • Battery 2070 mAh
  • 129.9 x 65.9 x 11.6 mm
  • 143 grams
Compared with high-end devices we find that the extras are removed as the microSD card slot the MHL connection to get an HDMI cable from the USB port with an adapter or NFC chip. We also have 1GB instead of 2GB of RAM which now has high-end A but less than 600 or 800 Snapdragon very decent quad-core processor and a maximum size of 16GB internal storage. But Motorola makes it all the same because what they get is a tremendous efficiency in hardware to capitalize leaving as little as possible our pockets suffer.

Design

Despite being a mid-range Motorola has continued its design lines and have a high quality of construction in this Moto G. Keep the design lines of the company has a compact design and is very how in hand. SAMSUNG CSC Its rounded front only lets us see the camera and speaker. It has very tight top and side profiles but the bottom is too big. The bezel protrudes slightly to the support face down the screen does not touch the surface on which we do which also gives extra protection against falls avoiding breaks more screens in these cases. The right side has the power buttons and volume (the latter are usually more comfortable on the opposite side of the ignition but has not done so) the higher the minijack headphone jack microUSB connector on the bottom and is left empty. The back shows the camera flash a sunken Motorola logo and the speaker output. We can remove the back cover of the phone to exchange it for another but the battery is not removable by the user. We found a sticker that says "not user removable battery" to enlighten us in case of doubt.Under the cover we also have the microSIM card slot but no microSD card. Feel enough weight too high. For only 4.5 inch screen 143 grams is too much and thickness of 11.6 mm is also somewhat higher than we would like. Just do anything to discredit the phone.

Software

Motorola's interface is pure Android but with some extras. Everything is very similar to what we find in a Nexus the same menus without extra customization layer that slows the terminal same design and same features. motog-software-01 Factory now the Motorola Moto G comes with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean but in a month is expected to begin arriving upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat so we will have new changes compared to what we are now testing. If things work well and with version 4.3 certainly much better with 4.4. Motorola adds some extras to their terminals that differentiate it from any Nexus. At the end of the day but Motorola is a company of Google they have to operate on their own and can continue offering applications and services. Moreover it is the grace he has. One of the applications that we are sure that more than one happy is the FM Radio. Indeed the Moto G has FM radio and works by simply connecting a headset which is what you use to look like antenna signal. The other Motorola proprietary applications we find are Assist and Migration:
  • Assist provides a task to automate the most common tasks or mute your phone during meetings or to be put on silent overnight. Learn from us and lets set our own parameters.
  • Migration allows us to indicate its name change the old for the new. i.e move from our old phone to a new one facilitating the process. Copied messages calls and even history settings.
A pure Android with extras this is the best summary of what offers the Motorola Moto G.

Performance

This is where the G Moto leaves us speechless. Frankly I thought it was gonna work as well as it does is that after you have been using a Nexus 5 I have not noticed the difference should have noticed. Clarify that in terms of user experience and fluidity of the system the Nexus 5 is the best results currently available. We can not say that the Moto G is as fast as a Nexus 5 but since then the differences are not nearly as one might expect. Motorola's new terminal is fast fluid and offers a unique user experience. We must be very clear here we are talking about a € 175 smartphone. Not render as a Maquinon 600 € or as the Nexus 5 but the user experience it delivers is amazing not just for the price you have if not a lot more expensive compared to this terminal. We have noticed over time that lowers performance somewhat but not something too serious. It just takes a little longer to execute some tasks and remains something caught when opening some applications but nothing worrisome at least as far as we could measure after weeks of intensive use.

In general we can say is that the Motorola Moto G is perfect for those who can not spend much money on a phone and still not want to give up a very good Android smartphone experience. I would say that it is indeed one of the very few phone that meet these characteristics we could count them on one hand.

Camera

We can not say that the camera is bad but since then we put it costs between decent much less among the good. Images taken with the Moto G transmit lower resolution than the figure of 5 Mpx accompanying specification sheet has a rather questionable sharpness and contrast and saturation are very poor. Come on what we might expect from a phone of 175 € and you see that this is one of the components which have reduced price. And frankly I think is great because putting a good camera with software processing and decent image compression costs money so for better regulation do not do it. And despite all this the camera is not as bad as it meets and exceeds in more than one situation. Battery

Spectacular that's the word that describes the operation of the battery Moto G. After what surprises terminal performance the battery is what we liked most. SAMSUNG CSC With only 2070 mAh thought that doing a good job with the Motorola battery performance get out a terminal similar to high-end performance but not only that but it surpasses it. Possibly thanks to a very efficient use of the device through the software and have a lower resolution FullHD with 720 x 1280 pixels G Moto lasts many hours running. We managed to overcome the barrier of 12 hours in intensive use the 15-hour intensive and exceed 24 hours of operation if we are careful. The amazing thing is that it has not been necessary to be too careful with the figures we have obtained. A big plus is how little consumed at rest. motog-bateria-03 motog-bateria-04 motog-bateria-01 motog-bateria-02

Conclusions

I think along the G Moto analysis the conclusion is very clear. This is a phone that changes the concept of mid-range and we show finally that below-the most expensive phones features and for only € 175 may provide a user experience really good it does not give problems and who does that end up wanting to throw the phone out the window. Motorola has done an amazing job of tailoring the hardware and is largely inherited from the same as have been achieved for Moto X a terminal that pays well above what the paper says. The idea is simple take a few components that can be sold at a good price they unite and work on adapting Android and operation of the software on these so that we obtain the best possible performance not just putting the software over the hardware without worrying what happens beyond. We see this reflected in two things the great terminal performance and how much does the battery and gives us good results. These two combined and added to the price of good G Moto factors make it the best choice in price / quality ratio on the market. His only competitor in this regard is the Nexus 5 offering more quality but also at a higher price so this relationship is more or less the same. But if you want a cheap smartphone that works well the Motorola Moto G is undoubtedly your choice.
