The Applications section designed for Tablets starts arriving today at Google Play
As Google promised a new section was close to becoming its place in the store for Android applications and games . Now we can find a space dedicated especially tablets under the name of "Designed for tablets" where only some applications that meet the requirements will have the honor of being.
Admittedly Android has had serious problems over time with the tablets but gradually being solved and has proved increasingly in these devices. At first they were slow and with very little support in terms of applications after Honeycomb largely tried to solve things but failed and finally we have a functioning ecosystem is getting better.
It is impossible to deny that without a tablet dedicated apps makes no sense and that's where most Android was failing. More and more developers are concerned with adapting or creating new applications for tablets perfectly prepared but this has not always been so.
In the new section "designed for tablets" of Google Play can find applications and games that meet the requirements that Google required for an application to be considered as such is not worth anything. These requirements are not few and you can check them here or take a look at the list of tasks to do . Those who do not comply will be marked as "designed for smartphones" and not pass this new section.
Hopefully these new changes and help section that the Android tablet ecosystem off more stilland start seeing applications better suited to tablets. The new section is beginning to arrive today so in typical process we will roll out of seeing it appear Google Google Play from our tablets.
